An easy way to do something green is to plant veggies, herbs or other things.
I recently started my herb garden with basil, thyme, dill and a few others that I use often when I cook! Many stores have pre-packed miniature green houses and you just plant the seeds and water every couple of days. Put them in the son or near a window for optimum growth! Try wal-mart garden center, home depot, christmas tree shop or any other garden center to purchase the seeds, dirt, etc.

Thesak.com is one of my favorite sites... Check out the new nontoxic dyes in their repurposed cosmetic bag- very cute!

Sunchips has stepped up the game and made a 100% compostable chip bag! Try them and feel good about the waste that will not be left behind forever. This is great news for landfills and more importantly out earth!
Celebrate EARTH DAY by planting something, buying a stainless steel water bottle or any other small contribution you can make! All it takes is one small step to lead to bigger ones!

Do you know where your produce comes from? LOCAL farm and orchard- Bishop's Orchard located in Guilford, CT provides delicious and nutritious fruits and other seasonal items. Shop at their store for great veggies, snacks and homemade mustards, peanut butter and dressings!
