Sweet Summertime is here once again-- That means more free time for things we love! The beach, nights out and leisurely days are all a part of my life in the summer ( when I'm not working of course). I have found some great products and tips for keeping it safe and green all summer long :-)

TOTE your stuff to the beach, pool or around town with this charitable line: FEED

Below is my new FEED bag that I got as a gift from one of my best friends ( Thanks Jenna!) http://www.feedprojects.com/

"The FEED Guatemala Bags were created in support of UNICEF's nutrition programs to help children receive the vitamin and mineral supplements they need to survive and thrive. Sales of each bag will help UNICEF supply an entire year's worth of nutritional supplements to a young child in Guatemala–the country with the highest percentage of chronically malnourished children in Latin America. These innovative nutrient powders can be easily sprinkled over a child's food at home, instantly transforming it into a nutritious meal" ( www.feedprojects.com)

The Tote above is sold nationwide at LORD & TAYLOR. PLEASE SUPPORT THE CAUSE

My two models below ( Megan & mom) are holding frames made from recycled newspaper and magazines. These types of frames and other home decor are sold at many retailers and are all unique! Check at TjMaxx, Marshalls, Homegoods and other eco-friendly shops to find one of your own!

These frames were at at store in Nashville, TN :-)

A gift from my amazing boyfriend. An ECO-HOME is just as important as an ECO-BODY :-)  Reclaimed and reused wood is so important because we need to keep as many trees as we can on this earth and supplying our oxygen!

New Haven is green! I pass this everyday and it makes me happy to see that people are taking this seriously. Please: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE people!
