Less space, less things, happier life ( the simple life)
Sometimes less really is more! With the new year comes the desire for new experiences or a cleanse. Cleanse the mind or the body but most of all the space you live in. A happy home is a healthy sanctuary.
Some simple things that you can do in the new year
can help you be a happier person too!
- Keep in touch with friends. Plan a no-money-necessary night with your friends. Everyone can bring a dish to one home and have a game night, swap clothes and other things or just catch up with one another. This is a cheap, fun way to connect with your friends which without , many of us would not be who we are. Laughing is the best way to ease a heavy heart or mind- it is also guaranteed to happen when you surround yourself with people you love!
-Give something away.
CLOTHES- donate to your local goodwill chapter or other clothing drives. Getting rid of things that are cluttering your closet is a healthy cleanse that helps others!
DONATIONS- if possible donate your time to a local place that helps a cause you are interested in. Google volunteering and you can get endless websites that provide you with places you can volunteer at in your town!www.volunteermatch.org
FOOD- Gather friends and family to start a food drive for families in need. Canned food and other non-perishables are always needed at shelters and homes around the United States.
